The Art of Locs
As black women we know that our hair, is much more than just strands growing from our heads—it carries history, identity, and for many, deep personal meaning. At first, I truly believed that my locs would simply be a hairstyle; nothing more, nothing less. But my journey with my locs has become something so much more powerful. Caring for it has become an art form, a creative act, a form of self-expression, and a path toward healing.
